Arrangement Made for Ornamental Fish and Pets Sellers in Jatinegara

Satpol PP officers controlled roadside ornamental fish and pets sellers (PKLs) operating on Jalan Matraman Raya, Balimester, Jatinegara, East Jakarta on Thursday (11/12).

Jatinegara Satpol PP Head, Sadikin stated, it involved 50 joint personnel from Satpol PP, urban village/sub-district, Transportation Sub-agency, TNI/Police, RT/RW, and local residents.

"We arrange the sellers to create an orderly, neat, clean, and beautiful environment," he conveyed, Thursday (11/12).

He advised PKLs for not selling on the sidewalk again and obey the regulations.

"If they violate it, we will give them sanction," he stated.

Meanwhile, RW 06 Balimester Head, Mulyono added, from the initial data collection, there were 60 sellers arranged in this area. 

PKLs arrangement was carried out from Jatinegara City Plaza's gate until Jalan Kemuning.

Each stall has size of 1x1.5 meters, no tents are allowed at the selling location and the stalls cannot be more than 1.5 meters high.

"Today, we try the first display setting between sellers. They are not allowed to sell through the yellow line of the sidewalk," he explained.
